The monument is located to the right of the Benificis in Patriam pantheon and was erected for the Tosadori family. A slab of green granite forms the backdrop for a group with the Redeemer at its center, standing between a man and a woman kneeling. Christ has half-closed eyes and his head leaning back as he rests his right hand on the man’s head at his side and offers his left hand to the woman who begs for mercy. The composition represents the suffering humanity that trusts the messiah, the only one able to bring comfort and salvation.
