Columbarium Marianna Moro Lin

Marianna Moro Lin, a famous Piedmontese opera actress and singer and inspirational muse of Carlo Goldoni, died in solitude and poverty in Verona: her friends and admirers activated a collection to guarantee her a proper burial, which was taken over by the municipality of the Venetian city. For this reason the sculptor Pietro Bordini sculpted his three-quarter portrait inside the medallion placed at the center of the columbarium free of charge.
