Riccardo Cassini

Verona 1945

The sculptor Riccardo Cassini, was born in Verona in 1945, he trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in the city. In 1971, he held his first solo exhibition in the U.G.M. Gallery in Mantua, while in 1972, his Monumento agli Alpini (Alpine Regiment monument) was inaugurated in Montorio.

In 1981, he sculpted the works of the Bonuzzi Chapel in the Monumental Cemetery of Verona, designed by architect Gilberto Barbesi. In 1988, he obtained the chair of sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts G. B. Cignaroli in Verona while continuing his work as a sculptor and medallionist.
