Monumento Pindemonte Moscardo

The monument represents the noblewoman Giulia Pindemonte Moscardo who, on her deathbed, is comforted by an angel. The old lady is depicted agonizing, with the worn face and the body marked by age and suffering abandoned in the arms of an angel bent over her with large wings open. The angelic figure with the right hand supports the head of the woman and with the left shakes her hand while picking up the last breath of the dying. The bottom of the sculpture is in red marble and is framed by an arch supported by carved tiles: in the center there is a bronze medallion and above the title of the family.
