The monument is in memory of the marquise Teresa Muselli Vela, known for her generosity and remembered here for her daughters. Above the base there is a group with three statues: an angel with an oval face framed by soft curls is distributing the bread to two beggars prostrated barefoot before him and represented with great realism.
