Monumento Galtarossa

Dedicated to the Galtarossa family, founder of the first Veronese steelworks, the monument was built on the occasion of the death of Antonio Galtarossa, who had started the business. Initially the family sepulcher was located in the central avenue of the Cimitero Barbieri and only later was it moved into the intercolumniation of the same sector. In the bronze bas-relief three angels are represented with a halo and stylized hairstyles: they represent the spirits of prayer that watch over the tomb and are arranged in almost geometric succession.
