Franchini monument

Product of the work of several authors, the monument was created by Carlo and Attilio Spazzi at the end of the Nineteenth century and enriched by Tullio Montini in 1910s: by the Spazzi brothers are the eclectic drawing of the aedicule and the portrait of Gaetano Franchini, founder in 1866 of the newspaper L’Arena, by Montini it is instead the bronze bust of Albano Franchini, son of Gaetano and new owner of the newspaper after the death of his father.
