The monument was erected for the disappearance of the little Carolina Dolci and presents a colorful mosaic, a very rare element in the Monumental Cemetery of Verona. A group of richly dressed girls go down the stairs of a Gothic temple to go and pray at the tomb of Carolina. Above the composition there is the mosaic where, on the sides, two angels with parchment are represented and, in the center, a hand among the clouds that holds a crown.
