Among the most ancient monuments of the Monumental Cemetery, the one dedicated to the Milanese industrialist Carlo Bonomi is a composition that speaks a classical language telling the death of allegories. In the façade there is a bas-relief with the herm of the deceased in the center, his wife and the poor he rescued on the right and the son supported by a friend and the personification of science on the left. Above the scene there is a winged genius kneeling on a funerary urn.
