The protagonist of the monument is the Angel of the Resurrection, originally sculpted by Giuseppe Poli with his son Cesare and then replaced in the 1960s by a copy of Gino Bogoni. Sitting on a base of black marble, the angelic figure has its wings spread, its clothes moved by the wind and its gaze turned towards the sky. The statue remained devoid of the trumpet that the angel held in his left hand, almost waiting to give breath to the instrument. Also lost are the medallions with the marble portraits of the original clients, covered following the recent passage of ownership of the tomb.
