The colombarium of Giuseppe Trombone was financed by the Verona section of the Society of Veterans of the Patria Battaglie. Originally from Vercelli, Trombone enlisted as a volunteer and died fighting the Battle of Custoza in 1866. His epigraph commemorates his military rank as lieutenant colonel of the infantry and his silver and gold medals for value.
