Aymo monument

The monument is dedicated to the journalist Giovanni Antonio Aymo, director of “L’Arena” and owner of the newspaper from 1895 to 1901. The deceased is depicted in a marble bust, commissioned by the widow and the two daughters, and on the right is carved a fighter of ancient Rome with the motto “Pro patria et rege” (from the Latin, for the homeland and for the king).
